What we do
Alphovia builds custom AI agents that handle the operational work a business cannot bill for: answering enquiries, qualifying leads, booking consultations, and chasing the follow-ups that quietly go cold. We are not a software product you configure yourself. We design the workflow, build the agent, connect it to the tools you already use, and stay responsible for whether it actually works.
Most of our work sits in law firm automation and legal client intake, with a second line in AI receptionist and answering services for businesses that lose revenue to missed calls.
Who runs it
Alphovia is a small senior team founded by Gabriel Maturan. The people who scope your automation are the people who build and run it — there is no handover to a junior delivery team after the strategy call. That is a real constraint on how many engagements we take at once, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
- Gabriel Maturan — Founder. Strategy, architecture and leadership. Scopes each engagement and designs the agent architecture, from integrations through to how the workflow runs in production.
- Tim — AI Engineer. AI systems, LLMs and APIs. Builds the agents and the custom development work behind them, including the data integrations they depend on.
- Moris — AI Automation Specialist. Agents, automation and workflows. Handles integration across your existing tools and monitors each workflow once it is live.

How we work
- We start with the process, not the tool. Before anything is built we map where enquiries arrive, who touches them, and where they stall. Automation applied to a broken process just makes the breakage faster.
- One workflow first. The first build targets a single high-volume, high-cost process, so there is a real before-and-after to judge rather than a vague sense of improvement.
- Built on your existing stack. We connect to the calendar, inbox, and case or CRM system you already run. Replacing your systems is not the goal.
- Handover in plain language. You get documentation of what the agent does, what it will not do, and how to turn it off.
What we will not automate
We do not automate legal advice, conflicts decisions, fee agreements, or anything that constitutes practising law. Our agents gather information, schedule, route, and follow up. Judgment stays with the firm. Any vendor telling a law firm otherwise is selling a liability, and we say the same thing in our writing on AI paralegals and AI contract review.
How we write
Everything on our blog is written from build experience, not summarised from other articles. When a tool category underdelivers, we say where and why — see why legal CRM software rarely fixes intake and what intake services can and cannot fix. We would rather lose a sale to an honest limitation than win one we cannot deliver on.
Where we work
Alphovia works remotely with clients across the United States, with a concentration of legal-sector work in California. Engagements run over video and email; there is no requirement to be local to us.
